I'm Carmen, a Menstrual Educator and Fertility Awareness Instructor from Mexico, currently based in Helsinki, Finland.
I'm here to help you deeply understand your cycle, connect with your body and make empowered decisions about your health.
Six years ago, looking for a holistic way to treat PCOS, I discovered the world of Menstrual Cycle Awareness. I finally learned that the cycle is an incredible feedback tool that gives us important clues about our physical, mental, and emotional health. This was a life-changing discovery, and I immediately felt called to become a Fertility Awareness Instructor and support others on this path.
I dream of and actively work helping women, and menstruators understand their cycle, see it as something positive, and take care of their cyclical selves.
I heartily believe that understanding how your body and hormones work is a right that you, every woman, and every person with periods have. So I'm on a mission to spread inclusive, comprehensive, and empowering education that honors the diversity of experiences when it comes not only to periods but to the whole cycle.
My approach is humane and secular, and I offer programs in Spanish and English.
If you're interested in my work as a menstrual educator in Spanish, you can follow me on @bajolacarparoja.
I'd love to support you in this process!
