She / her
I am a holistic cycle guide, hormonal health coach and birth worker with an academic background in medical anthropology and women's studies. I am qualified in holistic women's health, traditional midwifery practices and trauma-informed coaching. My work revolves around our menstrual and life cycles from periods to postpartum. In all my work, the main focus lays on getting to know our bodies (gaining body literacy), sharing tools to make informed body choices and cultivating a sense of body belonging throughout all changes and cycles our bodies move through.
Fertility awareness is a great tool with which I can support people to intimately get to know their bodies and cycles. I am thinking about certifying as a FAM educator in the future.
I hold space for people to come home to themselves through embracing their bodies and cycles, practicing cyclical living and being in flow with their cycles instead of going against them. I support cyclical beings through online coaching, courses & classes, circles and retreats; and my free online community Womb Wellness Circle.
Iris is a self-taught practitioner of fertility awareness. She draws on the Taking Charge Of Your Fertility book and the Sensiplan Natural & Safe handbook to inform her work. She first learned fertility awareness in 2010 and has been passing on this knowledge since 2017. She supports people to chart their menstrual cycles according to the guidelines in Taking Charge Of Your Fertility.
Iris does not have any specific mentors in the fertility awareness space but for complex charting questions she happily signposts people to certified educators such as Jessie, Lisa, Chloe
